Terms and Conditions

  • This website offer is only available for constituted voluntary and community groups in the Humber region.  It only applies to the organisation’s primary website and is limited to one site per organisation.
  • The first year is defined as the anniversary of the first day your website goes live.
  • On or after your anniversary you will be billed £50.00 for the next 12 month period.  This will include the web hosting, email and telephone support.
  • Virtual Riders (VR) takes no responsibility for 3rd party software, content backups or liability for your domain.
  • Additional support and training will be possibly subject to extra charges which will always be fair and a reflection of the service provided.
  • Having a VR hosted website entitles you to all the benefits of being a VR member and you will be placed on the VR emailing list.
  • Either party may terminate the website offer with 30 days notice.  Failure to pay the £50.00 fee after the anniversary date will result in  the website being deleted.  The domain however will remain in the organisations ownership for another 12 months after which it can be renewed by the organisation.
  • This offer is limited to 100 organisations per year and will be operated on a first come, first served basis.  No guarantees or responsibility will be offered for timescales.
  • Once up and running full responsibility for the site rests with the organisation but VR will attempt to support that organisation in all aspects of its ICT.
  • Whilst open to all in the sector VR reserves the right of refusal on the grounds of abuse fairness and ethics.
  • Any perceived breach of English law identified on the website will result in its closure.
  • Larger organisations (turnover greater than £500,000 or staff greater than 12) may be refused or charged a set up fee of £100.00.
